Fourways Concrete (Private) Limited, trading as Fourways Group, is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. We are at Stand 2112 Ventersburg, Sunway City Industrial (Opposite PPC Zimbabwe), Harare, Zimbabwe.

On its own, nothing. The pages are plain files: HTML, one stylesheet, one small script we wrote, our own photographs, and the Poppins typeface served from this site rather than fetched from anywhere else. Nothing on these pages loads a script, a font, a map, a video player or a social feed from another company's servers, so no other company is contacted when a page opens.

The contact form is the one place you can give us something, and it works differently from most. There is no server behind it. When you press send, your own email program opens with the message ready and addressed to sales@fourways.co.zw. Nothing leaves your device until you send that email yourself, and when you do it travels through your own email account rather than through this website. The email addresses, phone numbers and WhatsApp number printed on the site behave the same way: they hand you to your own mail app, phone or WhatsApp.

So what we hold is whatever you decided to write to us, usually a name, an email address or phone number, and a description of the work you need. We do not buy personal information and we do not sell it.

A cookie is a small file a website can store on your device so it can recognise you later. This site sets none, and that was checked in a browser rather than assumed: every page was loaded and then examined, and the cookie store was empty on all of them, along with local storage, session storage and every other place a site can leave data behind.

There are no third-party cookies either, because nothing on this site is embedded from another company. Our location is an ordinary link to Google Maps rather than a map built into the page, and the WhatsApp button is a link too, so neither company is involved unless you choose to click through. Once you do, you are on that company's service under its own rules.

That leaves nothing here for you to accept, and no cookie banner in your way. Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings will not break anything on this site, because it does not use them.

We use it to answer you and to run our quarry, concrete and civils business, and for nothing else. Where the law asks for a lawful basis, ours is your consent, given when you choose to write to us, together with our legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry and keeping this website working.

Your message reaches the Fourways sales inbox and is read by the people who need to answer it. We do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

The pages themselves are files served by a hosting company. Nothing in the site's own code sends anything to that company or to anyone else, and whatever a host records while serving a page is set by the host rather than by this site. The hosting account for fourways.co.zw is not open at the time of writing, so we cannot name the company or describe what it keeps. Both will be added here before the site goes live.

The website itself keeps nothing, so there is nothing stored on it to delete. Your enquiry arrives as an ordinary email and stays in the Fourways inbox. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to sales@fourways.co.zw, and we will.

You can ask us to:

• correct it if it is wrong
• delete it
• stop using it

Email sales@fourways.co.zw and we will act on it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle that, you can complain to POTRAZ, the data protection authority under Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act, 2021.

This site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and these pages is encrypted. Because there is no database and no store of enquiries behind the site, there is no pool of customer information sitting here to be broken into. Once your message is an email in our inbox, it is protected by the security of that mail account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care with what you send us.

Because the form composes a message in your own email program, your enquiry travels through your own email provider and then to ours. Email providers run networks that can sit outside Zimbabwe, so a message may pass through servers in other countries on the way. The site's own files carry no personal information at all.

If the way this site handles information changes, for example if visitor analytics is switched on or the contact form is given a server of its own, we update this notice and change the date at the top.
